Schukinsk School
made Daniil love the spectacular shows. His Sebastian in The
Twelfth Night seemed to naturally belong to the clown carnival
directed by Mark Wyle.
Suddenly Daniil has
quit the Theater n.a. Gogol and vanished form the theatrical life for a
year and a half, making occasional appearances in The Twelfth Night
only. Those were hard times, when Daniil felt lost again, going farther
into deep depression as the phone has kept silent and new offers have
dried out.
‘I don’t really
remember what I was occupied with those days: reading the books,
pondering over something… Such gloomy thoughts pull a person into kind
of comatose. I guess it was my state of unemployed to blame. I was
fighting the depression hard and looking for the better times. On the
other hand, that period helped me understand the danger of myself merely
getting by while others had their bright moments. ‘
