was for his family (and Daniil himself) that the final choice was the actors’ school. The Strakhovs, however, never tried to scare their son away from the stage career; instead, they offered their help:

            'As soon as I made my final decision, my parents started searching for a skillful coach. Oleg Vavilov, an actor of Malaya Bronnaya Theater, was kind enough to help me through the acting technique. This is how I became a regular in Malaya Bronnaya Theater in my school years.'

Drama School

A school graduate, Daniil applied for three drama colleges at the same time, including GITIS, Schuka, and MHAT: 

           'I failed every exam in every school I had applied to. However, courtesy of Avangard Leontiev who generously gave me the second try, I’ve finally joined the School-Studio of MHAT. Well, in a year, I moved to Schukinsk Drama School.'
