Myself has currently got hold of Shakira's new album, and fell for La Tortura, of course;))

I haven`t heard the other songs from that album .....so I wouldn`t know what suerte is

u dont really have urge to listen to some heartbreaking lyrics , if u know what I mean ...

Well, what music am I fond of at the moment? Not bad POISY ! Shakira is quite good. I like her music and the sound and rythm of it but - don't kill me!

- her voice is not really what I like listening to. I must admit though that her music and style gives me a kick and just can make my day when everything seems to be useless.

I'm a huge fan of "ANASTACIA" (no connection to "Poor Anastasia" whatsoever

8) ). This girl has power and energy and I really love her powerful voice. Rocky music, rough sometimes, elements of pop, good songs full of genuine emotion and I always turn on the volume (the walls almost start shaking

). Brilliant !!!

"EVANESCENCE" is my absolute favourite. I just adore that voice and all the songs are wonderful. Great band !!!!!!!!!! I could listen for hours to them.....

CARLOS SANTANA is someone I would recommend to anyone. I've got the albums "SUPERNATURAL" and "SHALIMAR". Magnificent, genius, fantastic. This is real music and I just love it !!!!!

OH BY THE WAY, I thought a long time if it would be wise to put this here but I think it's such a strong, clear, emotional and expressive song that I decided to share it with you. For a certain reason - and now you may guess what or rather who that certain reason is

jelena, dear, apart from listening to the encouraging songs, just tell yourself: Hell with you, me is strong, me doesn't give a damn of you! and besides!! I'm perfect while you are not!!

Believe me - it works! been through this once

I once happned to see him and his wife (dammit) on TV show: The Newlyweds or something like this aaahhhhrrrrrrggggg

and when all my friends started calling me: Vickie, have you seen him??? and her??? you're way much better! etc
well anyawya, I survived, and no doubt you'll survive it all as well!

Now okay!!!!

Yesterday I was at my fave band gig!!

The band's name is Okean Elzy, the Ukrainian rock band, my absolutely favourite one, I just freeze speechless as I see them live, oh my god.. ('ll give you the hint, I'll use one of their songs for my next video

I've got sort of obligations regarding the number of OE gigs I HAVE TO attend during the year. The number averages at 10;)) However, thanks to our orange revolution I more than fulfilled my obligations, since guys were on stage every other week during the revolution times;)))

My next favourite bands are: Bon Jovi (I've been there fan for... let me count... over 10 years, 11 probably;) - dying to see them live, thats my most sacred dream, to tell you the truth, HIM (heh heh Poisy is short for Poison Girl, HIM's song) - been once to their New Year gig in Helsinki - it was AWESOME!!!
Mumiy Troll is my fave Russian band for... erm... 8 years, you may hear them in Fearing Death video.

I also like many other Finnish rock bands, inlcuding Negative, Apocalyptica and Entwine, and Russian guys.

I also fancy Evanescence a big deal, especially there Not for Your Ears album - it's heavy and rocky;))))

Hmm let me think a little.......
Definetely not a heavy metal or any metal type for that matters.
Rock music ? Yeap in some cases. I don't have favourite bands or singers cause I usually focus on songs and not bands.
I'd say I'm more of a latin-pop type when it comes to foreign music (I mean not greek).
And of course I listen mostly to greek modern music but I presume that you don't know my favourite artists like Xaroula Aleksiou, Giannis Parios, Giannis Ploutarxos

.
In general when a song has rythm and makes you wanna dance all night long (like we usually do in Greece

) I love it !

Now I'm listening to Giannis Ploutarxos new song "Ola se sena ta vrika" (I found everything in you)

btw Jelena and Poisy I admire your courage honeys. You've seemed to accept it pretty good. If I were in your shoes......it wouldn't be that good. I saw my ex with his new girlfriend and had a nervous break down. I can't even imagine what would I've done if I knew they were getting married. Anyway that's ancient history now..........there's no use crying over spilled milk

The best things in our lives are yet to come........

Go out with your friends, have fun, meet new people. You're free to do whatever you wan't, he on the other hand isn't. He is just full of responsibilities. Too bad for him.......

Jon Bon Jovi is perfect...

A girl I know once told me how she happened to get to.. I guess it was Turku (she's Finnish) for BJ's gig, and... luckily she's stayed in the same hotel with the band (nothing fancy, 4 stars, the usual accomodation), AND her feelings when meeting him (JON!!!) face to face by the elevator, when you cant even breathe, let along think...

god... we almost broke in tears - her - because of memories, me - because of a mere thought of meeting Jon just like that... by the elevator;)))))
and in a few hours we were almost crying at HIM's gig;)))))

hehehehehhe

My faveorite Bon Jovi's ballad is Diamond Ring, once and for all;)
And then go (of course!) Bed of Roses, Always, In These Arms, etc;)))

and$) the acoustic version of I'd Die for You. GOSH! It's incredible!!!!

Oh yes it was a marathonian broadcast last night. From 10 in the evening till 6 in the morning I think. I t was fantastic, I couldn't get enough of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love most of the songs that were played in this concert but my absolute favourite (at least from the ones I had the chance to listen ) was Bon Jovi's "It my life". I swear every time I listen to that song I'm sure that it's written for me "My heart is like an open highway.......I wanna say I did it my way........I just wanna live while I'm alive"

BUT......(and please don't shoot me for what I;m going to say) All these artists who participated in the concert (and I don't mean just the singers but the Hollywood actors too) gain millions and millions of dollars for their work.So singing against poverty is not enough...............they can also help - significately I may say

If they could give only 2% of their winnings each year can you understand for how much money we speak ?

And I hooopeee the “big ones” finally got it

Me too honey but don't count on it.I mean for them we all are (the ordinary people) just numbers and statistics and not human beings.....
Ok I don't wan't to get more serious on that cos I every time I talk about it I get extremely mad
