Unfortunately, I don't know much about the movie...
Danya will be engaged in the footage from July 3rd through August.

The information first popped up just a month ago, well, in the part when Danya was involved, so..I'll try to answer all the questions, but don't pin much hope on me

1. Personally, I would like to know if this film is an exclusively Russian production or if there are other countries participating in this, too.

It seems to be the Russian produce, no foreign actor is involved.

2. Except Danya, what about the other actors? Are there any other experienced / well known artists (Russian or international) going to be involved in the story?

Two actors whose names sound familiar for me are Aleksey Serebryakov and Anastasiya Nemolyaeva but frankly I doubt these names sound any different for you...

3. Is the plot of the film based on a novel or is it the project of people who are just interested in WW II history? With other words, whose idea is the story?

As far as I know, the special air forces (Aircobra) did really exist in the WW II, while the rest (love story etc.) is the authors' idea.

4. Who is going to be responsible for the directing and the script?
I'm only familiar with one movie directed by Alexandr Rogozhkin, it's Osobennostie Natsionalnoy Okhoty (The Special Features of the National Hunting), it was a pretty funny comedy, but nothing special...

5. I'm a bit worried about this selection procedure at Nowgorod University... You said that 8 young women (beauties) will be selected from there for this big project and that naturally very good English will be demanded from them. O.k. I don't know for which roles / characters they will be selected but does Nowgorod University have a drama / acting faculty? I mean Danya is a professional actor with a strong artistic focus and he deserves - especially in such a project - to work with somebody who is on his level. A pretty face and body and fluent English simply cannot be the only selection criteria...

oh heheheheh, personally I believe the beauty and fluent English were the only criteria

6. Do you know perhaps anything about the production budget?
Nope...

7. Are there any serious plans of the production company (Russian?) to promote the film on a European level (except from the fact that it is going to be a bilingual project)?
Havo no idea.

8. How did Danya get the leading part? Did he apply for it through auditions or did the producers / the director offer the leading part to him?
Sorry, no idea..

thank you so much for taking the time to answer all those questions as far as you were able to answer them. That was extremely kind of you and I believe that Alina is right . Yup, just let us wait patiently and see how things develop in the coming weeks and months. As the project proceeds, information will surely be given out gradually to the public and the press. The most important thing right now is that hopefully Danya is enjoying his work and that his commitment will have a result with which he is going to be happy, satisfied and proud of.

It's just that he's a great actor perfectly aware of how to look in every particular scene;))
