umm as far as the video clip and the love scene I'm a little lost about the " pain" comment u were just mentioning is it because its the first time u see dani in that type of situation? or is it because he was too breathtaking as u said and u couldn’t handle the excitement? lol I'm sorry I don’t mean to sound nutty but as I said I'm just confused as to the reason behind u being hurt from the scene!!!

Actually it's not the first time that I saw our darling in a scene like that. The other one I saw was a love scene in "Children of Arbat" and when I saw that one for the first time, I stopped breathing for a moment, too but strangely I did not feel shocked at all. Quite the contrary... it was a very intimate, tender and erotic scene and he mastered it just beautifully.

Will you believe it? usually when I see a scene for the first time I watch it a couple of times over again if I liked it but this particular scene in "Zvezdochet".... the little video is stored in my PC but I saw it just once since yesterday and not again ...

Why this scene actually kind of hurt a little.... difficult to explain.... maybe a little bit of jealousy: who would not just love to have been in her position? I think what hurt a little bit was the fact her
being on him (oooh don't misunderstand me pleeeaase!!!! ) and to me it felt as if she was taking possession of him in some way.... (of course I know very well she did not but feelings are a strange thing...)

Jeeesus, I know I'm probably talking rubbish because I can perfectly tell the difference between fiction and reality and it was just a love scene taken in the presence of a bunch of people probably giving orders and commenting all the time, with some cameras focusing on the two of them and hardly any space for "real" atmosphere...

But in contrast to this scene, in the love scene in "Children of Arbat" our sweetie, well in fact his character, was the one who was in command and he was the active part of the thing and it was lovely to watch it... I also had no problem whatsoever with this gorgeous "real kiss" scene in BN (you know when Vladimir kisses Anna properly for the first time). I loved it and I liked Anna / Elena Korikova the more for it. But in "Zvezdochet" this picture of her on him, with this smile of pleasure and triumph in her facial expression, seducing him... sorry, it was too much for me...

By the way, no I don't need a shrink 8) . You know in two or three days I'll be my old self again and my silly feelings will have come down again

…when I though it over I realized that this photograph, if it has no good explanation, really destroys the picture of Dania existing in my mind, of course based on his story trough his interviews, based on some stories by poisy, and those convincing explanations how he couldn’t have had any affair with korikova and him not being flirting and seducing type of a man at all !!
I like to make jokes, I’m sure u`ve noticed that so far, And that is all I`ve been doing when mentioning his marriage or wife. But I respect the fact he is a married man and have deep respect towards his wife cause not only she’s the lucky lucky girl but she also has to be somethin` else if you understand me, in order to deserve so unreserved attention of our beloved Danya.

Danya is a man , and what a man!! we all understand that damn well!!!
And he is nice and kind to his fans, as well his colleagues both male and female. And all those other photographs [same party] showing him with those other blond girls seem like loosen up party photos, with colleagues, but the one with the brunette .....

First time I saw the photo it was like- ok, friendly, party , little drink , and so on…
Then I thought it was much more different than those other photos, I mean with other girls.
Do we have to make a conclusion there is something special with that particular brunette?

I would really, really like to find out who she is, and how close is she to danya, out of curiosity I mean is she his personal assistant, his hair dresser , what exactly makes her so special compared to those other girls from the crew. It has to be something .... friend from childhood, ex lover ? what?

First I thought she was some actress and than It seemed logical to me that they were making something like a joke, posing to a photographer trying to implicate little bit of physical attraction or something [ now u`re thinking I am crazy, well u have every right to :mrgreen:]

Why am I saying all this? Because I always thought there was a lack of passion in those photographs with his wife. Yet, here, he seemed to me as if I have just seen the picture taken from some film shooting or something.
Of course that can be explained in many ways, still I believe there must be some good explanation, for a person to allow to be photographed and shown publicly in such pose with female who isn’t his wife. Because we are talking about the person who has been known by his image. And that is the image of rather closed, withdrawn, family man, far away from some flirting womanizer, party going-women seducing actor !!

Now u must be thinking – she is some old-fashioned,,,,.. no!!! But I did have picture of danya in my mind that is completely opposite of what we could see in that photograph. :blink::?

Dear, I’m glad you’re saying this because on the one hand I just cannot help the way I’m still feeling about that particular scene and on the other hand I feel rather stupid and embarrassed about feeling that way (if the others think I’m being silly, they might be right). Well, these are in fact very good questions. So, who is Daniil Strahov? I agree completely with you when you say that you – just like all of us – formed an image of him in our minds according to all the info we got from various sources as well as from dozens of pics (screen shots, private fotos etc.).

In spite of everything we actually know about him, we don’t know, and quite likely never will, know who he really is and what he’s like when he’s not on stage, not at a film set, not at a photo shooting or at an interview on TV. What we know or rather what we think we know about the real Danya is only this little glimpse that Danya allows people / us to see in his interviews and though I don’t doubt that he tries to be as honest and sincere as possible, I believe that he has a rather professional, careful and reserved attitude concerning how much he is ready to reveal about his true personality, feelings, wishes, habits, tastes and dislikes etc. because, like any other public person, he needs a strictly private space just for himself where he has not to please and entertain anyone and where he can do, think and say all those things that all ordinary people, all of us included, do, think and say.

I do admit that I would just love to know as much as possible about absolutely everything concerning him but he’s got every right to his privacy and to the protection of his strictly private sphere. Besides… I like this kind of secret, not knowing who he really is…a beautiful, mysterious stranger…

To be honest, when I used that phrase, I didn’t have a certain set of character traits in mind based on interviews and pics and probably reflected in these photos . What I was trying to express was that from my subjective point of view on these photos he looked completely different in comparison to all the other pics we know from him. I like these a lot ‘cause for me they seem to be absolutely natural and his facial expression, his body language seem to reflect an inner balance, pleasure and confidence in himself and in his masculinity. To me it looks as if he’s perfectly at ease and happy with himself, his life and the world around him and the way he plays and flirts with, poses and uses the camera reveals this inner balance.

I still believe that most of the things you mentioned about him are true BUT, and this is I think the point where I have a slightly different opinion from you, my image I had of him was not destroyed. It might sound odd but when I saw these party pics for the first time I was rather pleased and quite amused because I was always convinced that no matter how faithful a husband and no matter how reserved, dignified and aristocratic a personality he may be, HE IS A MAN WHO IS INCREDIBLY FOTOGENIC, HE’S GOT A UNIQUE, BEAUTIFUL EROTIC AURA, AN EXTREMELY SOPHISTICATED SEX-APPEAL, ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE IN FRONT OF A CAMERA AND HE KNOWS ALL OF THIS BLOODY WELL !!!! Don’t worry about your eye sight. Everything is fine with it !!! I’ve no clue how his wife feels about this particular pic but I would not be surprised at all if she was a bit jealous. If I was in her position I would be wondering about Danya’s behaviour but probably I wouldn’t worry too much about it because of the brunette’s body language and the other two or three fotos with Danya and that same brunette (by the way I’m a brunette, too and his wife would have a very serious reason to be more than worried if it was me on that foto !!!) are rather harmless… nevertheless the pic we’re talking about is kind of strange…

I suppose all or some of you saw this new video on this site, the one called 'bedtime stories' or something like that where Danya and his really beautiful colleague Ina Gomez are doing a love scene. Well, I neither intend to make a fuss about it nor do I want to make it a big issue but I cannot help it I just feel the need to comment on it and of course I'm simply expressing my very personal, subjective opinion.

The whole scene as such I think is absolutely beautiful and rather sensual and Danya is..... well I can hardly go into detail 'cause you all know what I mean
BUT What really annoys me (I'm a big girl, so I can say these things!) is the choice of the background music... Sweeties, don't crucify me, but personally I'm reminded of these French soft porns shown late nights on some private TV channels. For God's sake !! Nobody can tell me that there isn't any tasteful, sensual music which would give this scene the atmosphere it deserves.

The second point that infuriates me is "the cigarette afterwards" Whose idea was that ( the script writer's? hopefully not Danya's, I would be devastated!!!)) and what the heck is this about? Does anyone find this cool or particularly masculine? I don't know about you but for me this bleeding cigarette destroyed absolutely everything. Oh dear, I did not mean to upset you or anyone else here. Hhmmm... maybe I should have been clearer on this in order to avoid misunderstandings. I didn't express myself against smoking and smokers in general because I have friends and relatives who smoke, too and I love them as much as I love those who don't smoke. I don't make any difference between them and never will.

I must strictly underline here that I was expressing my very own subjective point of view not expecting anyone to agree with me! What I wanted to say was that only in this one, particular scene and context (not in a general, social context), I didn't like the "cigarette afterwards" because it just does not reflect and appeal to my personal preferences.
